just got my xr2 back on the road again after seven years in my garage but having trouble with front suspension changed front struts for newer type gas new coil sprigs bourght and fitted by garage but car seems to bottom out i have got 15 inch wheels on but i have been told this shouldent cause me any probs can i buy some heavy duty coil springs to maybe solve this problem not sure where to get these from or if they will work im loosing sleep origonal alloys gone many years ago can any body shed any light

I fitted last year a set of Spax shocks and springs, having had a previous set working fine for 5 years, and the last ones are working fine. In the next few months I may fit a set of 15 inch wheels which will leave me with a set of perfect originals - based here in Spain. If you have fitted bigger discs you won't be able to go back to the 13s.

PS: my car is an XR2 - 1986.
